With a musical history that spans across the United States, Doc is the musical virtuoso of the group. Comfortable playing drums, keys and guitar, Doc has the musical vision that drives Local Honey.
Doc might seem serious, but he is just focused on the music. He loves it when members of the crowd engage with him! His favorite candy is Sweet Tarts (because he is sweet AND tart). Let him know you read this by bringing Sweet Tarts to each and every gig!
Tory
The Percussionist and Mr. Popularity
Every band has that guy. You know, the one that knows absolutely EVERYBODY! That is Tory C. in Local Honey. Whether we are playing locally or across the state, there is always a member of the crowd that showers Tory with love.
Why wouldn't they?!? Tory loves everything musical! You might see him sitting in with other bands, attending shows and going to festivals. Make sure you capture a selfie with Tory when you catch him in the wild!
Jason Teague
The Barefoot Bassist, Back Up Vocals, Band Artist and Teacher
One of the founding members of Local Honey, Jason has been holding down the low end in a variety of bands in the Verde Valley for years. The original barefoot hobbit on the bass, Jason brings a passion to his performance on stage that is a joy to watch.
Jason is also a high school Visual Arts Teacher, and uses his skills to create the visual media for Local Honey. Check out some of his work on our Artwork page!
Philly G
The Keyboardist, Big Boss and Stage Maker
Philly G is the Original Reggae Rocker of Local Honey. From Bob Marley, to Burning Spear, to Clinton Fearon, Philly G has an unmistakable passion for Reggae Music.Cutting his teeth on Reggae Keyboards with Jason and Tory in the Band Rebel Sol, Philly G brings texture and soul to Local Honey's Music.
As the Big Boss Man, Philly G is the powerhouse behind our live performance set ups! He has the lights and the stage to set up amazing shows, and our fans love it!
M.R.C
The Saxophonist, Back Up Vocals and Sound Nerd
M.R.C. is the newest addition to Local Honey. He has played Sax in a variety of groups around the country. He is a band geek that never grew up and he has no plans to do so anytime soon. He likes to play mad scientist with dubbed out delays on his Saxophone. He plays double duty as our sound nerd and overall engineer.
Caleb
The Drummer, Back Up Vocals and Pretty Boy
Caleb is the time keeper for Local Honey. He loves to bring joy and inspiration to all through the creation of a positive musical atmosphere.
Caleb started performing in a variety of musical styles with many bands and churches in Central Arizona at the age of 14 . His love for people and making music is obvious and infectious!
